the holiday season. Over the two days, 250
vendors will be on site displaying and selling
beautiful handcrafted holiday gifts, decorations,
food and collectibles. Shoppers can come
one day or both to shop for one-of-a-kind
items. As an added convenience, the Brea
Community Center offers KidWatch babysitting
services for a small fee. Due to large numbers
of shoppers, strollers cannot be accommodated
at this event.

Memorial
Day Ceremony
Each
year, to mark the very special day in which
we remember all those who gave their lives
in the service of their country, Memory
Garden Partk displays an Avenue of Flags
around the Veterans Field of Honor. This
tradition is a well-known and well-attended
event in the community, and Memory Garden
is proud to do our part in honor of those
who served and their families.

Fashioned Country Fair

Country Fair and carnival with live music,
games and food. The day begins with the
Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast followed by the
Brea Ministerial Association Morning Service.
The Fair continues with live entertainment,
Kiddie parade, food, games, exhibits, Jr.
Idol contest, teen fun area and Market Place
craft area.

Kids
Day Brea - July/August
Held in conjunction with National Kids Day
that will be recognized on Sunday August
3, 2003. This event directly benefits The
Boys and Girls Club of Brea.
Free
admission which includes live entertainment
for families and children. Kids can enjoy
music, crafts, pony rides, swing rides,
Indy car rides, huge slide of fun, face
painting, plus a variety of food and beverages.

Third Friday in August
A family event that is Brea’s most “tastiest”
celebration and party of the year. Guests
are invited to sample delicious food and
beverages from over 35 area restaurants,
features two large bands, an exhibition
in the Gallery including artists’ demonstrations,
and the Curtis Theater provides a sneak
preview of their upcoming season. Many events
especially for kids.
