Cruise of Lights - December

"Home for the Holidays" - Auction and Dinner Event

Huntington Beach's Soroptimist International annual "Home for the Holidays" auction and dinner event. The volunteer club has raisesfunds annually to support the Huntington Beach Community Clinic, Project Self Sufficiency and other local charities for over a decade while providing the community with its "kick-off" holiday shopping event.

Annual Duck-A-Thon - May

Thousands of rubber ducks are sold to the public and tagged with numbers for entry into a race. During the race, they are launched from the Huntington Beach Pier and recaptured by a team of volunteers as they float ashore. Prizes are awarded for the first ducks to come arrive. There's live musical entertainment all day long, food booths and children's activities that include face painting, duck dip and more.

4th of July Parade & Pier Festival

The day starts early with the Surf City 5K Run and Fitness Expo, the Huntington Beach Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast and then the Annual Huntington Beach 4th of July Parade makes its way along historic Main Street parade route.

After the parade ends, everyone is invited to bask in the Huntington Beach sun and enjoy the Pier Festival until evening, when the excitement mounts in anticipation of a spectacular fireworks display over the ocean.

Hello Kitty Boardfest - Huntington Beach
Labor Day Weekend

Hello Kitty BoardfestSM is returning to the Huntington Beach Pier on Labor Day weekend. The surf-inspired festival features a family-oriented beach exposition showcasing free attractions and games, surf clinics, skateboarding demonstrations and live music all set against the backdrop of a top-rated professional women's surfing competition.

Free daily activities include a rock climbing wall, a mechanical surfboard, face painting, an obstacle course, and a moon bounce house and games every hour including sand castle building contests, tug-of-war, hula hoop contests, relay races, and more.

Octoberfest - September/October

If you love to drink beer, eat bratwürst and sauerkraut and enjoy dancing to "Oompah-pa music directly from Linzerbuben, Austria, then you'll love the Oktoberfest at Old World Village with its traditional German festivity. Complete with German bands imported from Europe, dancing, and imported beers (of course) and tasty German foods from bratwürst to potato salad to hot pretzels and apple strudel, Oktoberfest has something for everyone.

Main Street Halloween Celebration
