Dana Point: Doheny State Beach:

Description: Next to Dana Point Harbor with restaurants, Dana Point Marine Life Refuge, swim beach and tide pools.

Location: At Dana Harbor, Pacific Coast Highway and Doheny Park Road

Hours: 6 am to 10 pm.

Attractions: Bike paths, campgrounds, rentals, hiking, surfing and volleyball

Facilities: Lifeguards, food & drink, rest rooms, showers, picnic areas, and fire rings. There are 120 tent and RV campsites. Fees are $14 to $20 per night. For camping reservations, call Destinet at (800) 444-7275.
