International Street Fair - Orange
September 3-5, 2010

International foods, crafts, folk dancing and music. Many different ethnic foods and costume. The Street Fair has become known for the variety of food reflecting cuisine from around the world. They provide food, drink, entertainment and crafts to the visitors.

LOCATION:
Street Fair is located in a four-square block area radiating out from the center of the Orange Plaza, which is the intersection of Chapman and Glassell.

Octoberfest - Huntington Beach September 5 thru October 31, 2010

If you love to drink beer, eat bratwürst and sauerkraut and enjoy dancing to "Oompah-pa music directly from Linzerbuben, Austria, then you'll love the Oktoberfest at Old World Village with its traditional German festivity. Complete with German bands imported from Europe, dancing, and imported beers (of course) and tasty German foods from bratwürst to potato salad to hot pretzels and apple strudel, Oktoberfest has something for everyone.

Richard Henry Dana Charity Regatta - Dana Point
September 9-12, 2010

Three days of competitive sailing and one day fishing tournament. Participants have the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of the Dana Point Yacht Club, which features a breathtaking clubhouse and panoramic views of the Dana Point Harbor.

A wide variety of activities take place throughout the four days. Some of which include; Thursday Lido & Capri sail races and the Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament, Friday sponsor and VIP recognition dinner, Saturday and Sunday boaters continental breakfast, a full day of sail races and a fishing tournament both Saturday and Sunday, Saturday evenings Casino night, and Sunday's boaters lunch and awards. Whale Watching - Dana Point & Newport Beach

Gray Whales migrate annually along the west coast of North America. They can be seen from the Orange County coast from December through early April.

Summer and fall bring the giant blue whales. They can be seen from June through September

The Heritage Festival and Parade - Placentia

Since 1965, this celebration of the city's heritage includes a parade and fair booths. The festivities begin with the Chamber of Commerce pancake breakfast at 6:30 a.m. followed by the parade and band review at 9:30 a.m. The festival begins at 10:00 a.m. and will feature many exciting activities for the entire family including the annual car show, a crafts fair, food booths, kids games and more.

Easter Seals “Walk With Me” Fundraiser - Irvine

This fun, family fundraising walk is in support of services for children and adults with autism and other disabilities. The 1 or 3 mile walk brings community members together with children and adults with disabilities who have increased their independence through Easter Seals services. All walkers will receive free refreshments, and enjoy live music and entertainment by local Indy rockers Arrest My Sister and The Instigator Band! All registered walkers also receive a free event T-shirt and helium balloon ride on a first-come, first-serve basis.
