mind getting dirty, and protection from the sun.

Get
outdoors and enjoy a free tour of the Bolsa Chica
Wetlands! Take a walk with one of our guides and
learn about the the rich natural and human history
of the wetlands while exploring the wonderful
ecology of the wetlands. Tours begin every 15
minutes and five areas of interest are included
in the presentation: history, birds, endangered
species, ecology and restoration. This free tour
is on a first come, first served basis. This is
a wonderful opportunity for vacationers, students,
small groups and local citizens to visit our valuable
resource.

Ahoy Matey! Keep your pirates, ages 5-12, healthy
and active this summer as they navigate their
way through a Treasure Map by participating in
fitness activities. Prizes will be awarded for
each island they reach. Advance through all seven
islands and win! Donations will be made to schools
of children participating in the seven-week fitness
program. Pirates get to an island by logging 2
½ hours of any fitness activity. To help them
along their way, take advantage of free weekly
kid’s activities.
