Orange County Gladiators
Pro Basketball is now in Orange County

The Orange County Gladiators are one of the newest entries into the ABA (American Basketball Association), the fastest growing and largest professional basketball league in North America with over 50 teams slated for the 2007-2008 season. The organization is an active participant in the community with a mission of providing quality family entertainment at prices that everyone can afford. The team will commence play in November of 2007 and will be playing their 18 home games in South Orange County.

Festival of Whales - Dana Point

It's time of the year for the whales to make their annual trip down south and the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce will celebrate with their Annual Street Fair, which is part of the Whale Festival with a weekend of fun, food, entertainment and an arts & craft show with over 100 vendors.

The Kid's Pet Parade

Toshiba Golf Classic

Swallows Day Fiesta Grande - San Juan Capistrano

This night of Old West entertainment consists of four contests are rolled into one! Best Dressed Old West Man, Best Dressed Old West Woman, Best Belt Buckle, and the Hairiest Man (best moustache and/or beard). So don your finest Old West outfit, belt buckle or facial hair! and enter one or more of the contests.

For the more timid, spectators are always welcome at the hilarious Fiesta Grandé. There is a $5 entry fee for each contestant for each contest entered.

Pet Expo - Costa Mesa

A giant animal entertainment and education festival. It’s the largest pet and pet product expo in the world. Over 1,000 animals will entertain you in stage shows, competitions and demonstrations including dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, rodents, goats, pigs, llamas, rabbits, miniature horses and more. There will also be pet adoptions, pet products for sale, petting zoo, how-to workshops and advice from animal experts. It is presented by a nonprofit organization to promote responsible pet care. Civil War Re-enactment - Anaheim

For two days the city’s normally serene, beautiful Central Park is transformed into a battleground between the Confederate artillery and the Union infantry, complete with combat, cannons and encampments. The annual event includes cannon blasts, fiddlers, banjos, flutes, drums, festive costumes, troop encampments and booths where hoop skirts and military period costumes were sold.
