Families throughout Southern California travel to Pretend City every year for the annual fair to receive free health screenings and checkups while enjoying good food, live music, and informative offerings from the exhibitors.

These free developmental checkups and health screenings include hearing, speech and language, behavior, body mass index (BMI), height and weight, blood pressure and denta. Families will enjoy the various entertainments at the event such as live music performances, face painting, prize giveaways, and more!

Celebration of the Arts - Yorba Linda

Annual Pier Swim - Huntington Beach

Get yourself in shape, practice your stroke, learn the motions of the waves and you'll be in good company when the pier swim arrives. Join or watch this annual tradition as groups of swimmers from 12 years old and up swim approximately 1/2 mile around the Huntington Beach Pier. $25 entry fee

Summer of Mud Run
Saturday, June 16, 2018
9 am

Celebrate summer by running (or come cheer on the runners!) the approximate +5k course beginning and ending at Irvine Lake. The course is partially on the road and partially on trails and includes hills, water, professionally built obstacles and over a dozen mud pits. You asked for even more mud, you got it! You will get wet and you will get muddy. Be sure to bring towels and a change of clothing.

A Harvest of Quilts - Aliso Viejo

Summer Solstice Garden Gala - Fullerton

Pageant of the Masters - Laguna Beach

The Pageant of the Masters is arguably one of the most unique productions in the entire world. Audiences are amazed and enchanted by ninety minutes of tableaux vivants ("living pictures"), incredibly faithful re-creations of classical and contemporary works of art, with real people posing to look exactly like their counterparts in the original pieces. A live narrator serves as a guide through the story of each living picture accompanied by the music of a professional orchestra.

Civil War Days at Heritage Museum OC - Santa Ana

Heritage Museum will offer two days of learning from both the Confederate and Union soldiers as they reenact daily routines during the civil war. See large and small Civil War weapons and artillery, experience canon fire demonstrations and visit their blacksmith shop for interactive activities.

Pigs, Ribs and Watermelon Professional BBQ competition and Beer festival is a Kansas City BBQ Society sanctioned event. Beer tasting event on Saturday and live music all weekend.

This event also helps raise funding to continue the work of the “Homeless to Hope to Home” shelter programs of the non-profit American Family Housing.
