Tips for Youthful Skin
(Information provided by Ziba

Here are some simple things you can do
to help keep your skin looking younger:
1.
Avoid over-exposure to the sun. SOME sun is
essential for your health. The trick is not
to overdo it, and never let yourself burn. When
outdoors in the middle of the day, limit your
exposure to brief periods or wear a broad-brimmed
hat and loose-fitting, light clothing. Sunblocks
commonly contain toxic chemicals and also deny
your body the many health benefits of natural
sunlight so avoid using them where possible.
2.
Maintain an even weight if you can. The cycle
of gaining significant weight, then dieting
and losing it can stretch and then slacken the
skin and this contributes to sagging and wrinkles.
3. Use natural skincare and avoid toxic chemicals.Natural
oils such as organic virgin coconut and olive
are excellent to apply to skin; to hold in moisture
as well as to take internally. Shankra has proved
to make an exceptional massage oill for both
face and for the body!
4.
Relax! We're not just talking about relaxing
the whole body, getting rest and so on, which
are of course vital. We mean relax the muscles
in your face. For instance, if you frown a lot,
you can get a wrinkled brow as the muscles in
your face force your skin into having lines
or wrinkles over time. Try to keep a more serene
or calm expression as your normal one.
5.
Consume the right "fatty acids" in your diet.
You've probably heard of omega-3 fatty acids,
which are found in abundance in fish oils, for
instance. Most people have far too little of
the omega-3 and way too much of the omega-6,
and this imbalance can lead to premature aging
including wrinkles. Take Omega 3 supplements
to help remedy the imbalance.
6.
Avoid major sources of free-radicals such as
cigarette smoke and pollution as much as possible.
But to deal with the inevitable exposures to
such things, consume a diet rich in anti-oxidants
and trace minerals including fresh raw fruits
and vegetables. Certain foods such as blueberries
are excellent sources of antioxidants. "Green
foods" such as barley grass and wheat grass
which you can find in a number of supplements
are also very valuable sources of antioxidants
and trace minerals.
