Relief Route Sales-Large Format

JOB SUMMARY:
Position may be an entry-level one for future sales employees learning how to work on the various types of sales routes in the location. Or, position might be an experienced salesperson who fills in for other route sales employees who are out for whatever reason. In both cases, this employee can be called upon to perform a variety of tasks including working routes, merchandising, setting up and taking down large displays, assisting other sales employees, etc.

PRIMARY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Address customer needs and expectations
• Sell and execute against all authorized promotions and initiatives
• Service assigned accounts daily
• Build merchandise and maintain all promotional displays

Position Requirements:
JOB ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• Must be 18 years of age o No more than one moving violation (anything other than parking) within the past 12 months
• Must have car or personal transportation to access multi-store locations within assigned shift
• Must be able to lift/carry 45-50 lbs. frequently for 8-10 hours a day
• Must be able to push/pull 50-250 lbs.
• Must be able to perform frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, and squatting
• Must be able to perform frequent reaching over shoulder, waist level, and from the floor

License Requirements: Valid Driver's License

Full Time
First Shift
40 hours per week - Shift will be Tues-Sat, or Sun-Thurs. prefer the ability to work early morning hours
Salary: $42,500 (50% base,30% Comm, 20% Variable OT)

Merchandiser

Overview of the Role:

• Merchandise store shelving, coolers and displays with Pepsi products in accounts assigned by supervisor.
• Utilize point of purchase in each account.
• Keep back room stock in neat and orderly condition.
• Communicate sales results to store and Pepsi management.
• Build customer relationships at store level.

Requirements:

• No more than 2 moving violations or serious motor violations within the past 3 years.
• Must be able to perform physical lifting of 40-50 lbs. or greater on a repetitive daily basis, reaching above shoulders and bending frequently, kneeling/squatting often.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Previous grocery retail merchandising experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have car or personal transportation to access multi-store locations within assigned shift.
• Proof of insurance.
• Valid driver's license.
• No more than 1 moving violation i.e. reckless driving, speeding in excess of 15 miles above the posted speed limit within the past year.
• No serious motor vehicle violations such as DWI, DUI, in the past year.

Production Maintenance Mechanic

Description:

Skilled position which repairs and installs production/manufacturing equipment. Inspects equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties, per manufacturer's specifications. Diagnoses equipment malfunctions and makes repairs or adjustments, as needed.

• Perform preventative maintenance on assigned line
• Repair all production equipment as needed
• Upgrade areas with new equipment/technology; work with outside contractors working on assigned line
• Change line for package changeovers

Position Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Knowledge of hydraulics o Knowledge of pneumatics
• Knowledge of power transmission
• Electrical background preferred
• Must be able to read schematics
• Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration helpful
• Technical school backgrounds preferred
• Must have own hand tools o Shift work required
• Must be able to lift/carry 50-85 lbs.
• Must be able to push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, squatting, climbing, reaching, and grasping

Delivery Driver

Job Summary:

Fulfills and supports sales initiated by Pre-Sell Rep through verification of sale with customer, delivery of product, and merchandising product.

Primary Job Accountabilities:

• Service accounts by delivering Pepsi products in proper sequence and rotating stock in accordance with PQI (Product Quality Initiative)
• Complete all sales tickets, settlement sheets and related paper work neatly and accurately
• Keep truck cab clean, operate truck safely, obey all traffic regulations
• Ensure compliance with all DOT (Dept of Transportation) Regulations

Job Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid un-restricted Class A CA Drivers License, airbrakes and HazMat
• Must be able to lift 40-60 pounds easily and continuously throughout shift
• Previous truck driving experience preferred, must be familiar with stick shift
• No serious traffic violations i.e. speeding in excess of 15 mph above posted speed limit, DUI, etc. in the last 12 months
• No more than 2 moving violation (anything other than parking) within the previous 3 years
• Must be able to push/pull 40-100 lbs.
• Must be certified merchandiser for internal applicants
• Must have class A permit
