Veterans Day Ceremony

Event will be led by Mayor Pro Tem Lucille Kring, and will include patriotic music, a special guest speaker and a commemoration of the Marine Corps 241st birthday.

Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony

Fullerton’s 29th Annual Veterans Day observance will feature patriotic speaker Gunner Gene Coughlin (CWO3 USMC Ret) who is one of a select group of Marines specifically designated a “Marine Gunner” and is authorized to wear the Bursting Bomb rank insignia.

The observance, hosted by Fullerton American Legion Post 142, Fullerton Emblem Club 469, and the City of Fullerton will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a parade in Fullerton’s historic downtown

The parade will begin at the Downtown Plaza, located on Wilshire Avenue, east of Harbor Boulevard and adjacent to the Fullerton Museum Center, go North on Harbor Blvd. and end at Hillcrest Park, which is located at the intersection of Harbor and Valley View Drive.

Veterans Day Ceremony

On Veterans Day we remember the sacrifices of those Americans who gave their time, their fighting spirit and sometimes their lives in war. In honor of Huntington Beach veterans, a Veterans Day ceremony will be held at Huntington Beach Pier Plaza on November 11 at 11:00 am.

Veterans Day Car Show

FREE to the public. This Veteran's Day festival in Huntington Beach celebrates and honors our heroes who have served in the military, many overseas in wars.

Over 500 woodies, hot rods, muscle cars, exotics, VW's, and rat rods. The show benefits the Paralyzed Veterans of America (P.V.A.) Long Beach Chapter.

Annual National Veterans Day Run

The 6th Annual National Veterans Day Run in Irvine will take place at Mike Ward (Woodbrige) Community Park. The race will offer three distances including a 11K, 5K or 1-mile walk. We have also added a new flag brigade registration option this year - read more about it below. We expect a large turnout of Veterans and Active-Duty military to this race so please accept our invitation to come out and support the men and women of our armed forces.

Veterans Day Event

This year's event will take place on Friday, November 11, 2016, with a musical performance by the Swing Dolls at 10:40 a.m., and the formal program at 11:00 a.m.,which will focus on those who served in conflicts that took place between 1976 and 2001.

Keynote speaker will be former U.S. Ambassador and Peace Corps Director Gaddi Vasquez. All are welcome to attend.

Veterans Day Observance Ceremony

The 28th Annual Veterans Day Observance Ceremony will be held at the Placentia Civic Center Plaza. The City of Placentia is grateful for the many sacrifices made by the men and women who have served our country. In their honor, residents, veterans, and their families are invited to celebrate this Veterans Day.

Former Naval Officer and current Mayor Pro Tem Craig Green, Lieutenant, USN will be the keynote speaker.
