The Independence Day celebration will include a Firecracker 5k and 10k run, parade, dog show, live music, food, and of course a fireworks show.

The day will start at 7 am with the 5k/10k run/walk followed by a dog show and other activities. Starting at 1 pm a parade will go from Canyon High School and end and Eucalyptus Park. Then beginning at 3 pm at Peralta Park food booths will open up and a fireworks show at 9 pm.

The 4th of July fireworks cruise is one of the most spectacular trips that we offer. This once a year event is something that everyone should witness at least once in their lifetime. You will spend the first hour or so cruising through the beautiful Newport Harbor amoung hundreds of other boats all celebrating the Spirit of America. Once you depart Newport Harbor the boat will travel for a short time along the beautiful beaches of Corona Del Mar and Laguna Beach.

After sunset you will have a front row seat to one of the largest 4th of July fireworks displays in Southern California. Bare witness to hundreds of colors and patterns that the sky has to offer on this night. Not only will you see the sky illuminated in firey burst, but feel and hear every pop and crackle during this one of a kind event

This year’s family-friendly celebration will feature live music, food, games, and activities, and a spectacular fireworks display. Festivities begin at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, with live music beginning at 4:00 p.m. featuring Electric Vinyl (Music of the 60’s, 70’s, 80’ and 90’s), followed by Kayln and The New Frontier (Country, Pop, 80s, and Rock covers) at 6:30 p.m.

In addition to the live entertainment, activities will include face painting, a mechanical car ride, electric bumper cars, bounce houses, several midway-type games, lawn games, and food trucks. There will also be a small vendor area for attendees to support local businesses and non-profit organizations.
