Grove
Located
in northern Orange County, California, the city
of Garden Grove has a population of 172,781 (2007).
The city is easily accessed by what is known as
the Garden Grove Freeway (State Hwy 22) which
runs east and west through the city.
The
motto of Garden Grove, "The City of Youth and
Ambition," accurately reflects this culturally
diverse community of over 170,000 people. This
city is home to a substantial Vietnamese-American
population, forming the northern edge of Orange
County's Little Saigon, as well as large Korean-American
population.
Their
most famous landmark is Robert H. Schuller's Crystal
Cathedral (now 'Christ Cathedral'). Known for it's distinctive architecture
and the old weekly broadcast 'Hour of Power',
which was listened to by millions all over the
world.
Garden
Grove is a popular place for theater enthusiasts

Garden Grove Playhouse, Gem Theater and the Festival
