Oceanfront Living in Laguna Beach
Submitted by The Aaronson Group

Rocky bluffs and canyons dot the landscape of the tourist-rich community of Laguna Beach. This creative city offers the ideal destination for budding artists as well as visits to the laid back cove beaches like Thousand Steps Beach and steep scuba diving locales of Wood's Cove. Both scuba diving and snorkeling are big draws at the Laguna Beaches. Meanwhile, one of the most popular destinations, Main Beach, offers a variety of beach activities as well as a number of unique restaurants and shops nearby. Laguna Beach has well over 30 different beaches.

An art colony from its roots, Laguna Beach has a number of committees that not only look after Laguna's natural loveliness, but help create and place art in public places, from lamppost banner originals by local artists to towering edifices and street corner art just about everywhere you look. Laguna Beach is well-known for its famous art festivals, but there are many other offerings throughout the year that will simulate the artist in you, such as gallery exhibits, art classes, First Thursdays, Art Walk and pubic art.

Laguna Beach has also a long tradition of hosting spectacular events like the Sawdust Art Festival, Laguna Art-A-Fair, and the Festival of Arts. No matter what your mood, Laguna Beach has a beach that perfectly suits you. With 7 miles of coastline made up for more than 30 coves strung together beneath hillsides and cliffs, it will be hard to decide on just one beach. As the only marine reserve in Southern California, Laguna Beach is renowned for its pristine waters, abundant sea life and beaches.

Laguna Beach is one of the only Southern California cities where you can stay at a hotel right on the beach. If it is people watching and restaurants you seek, try Main Beach. If you are looking to have bonfire, head over to Aliso Beach. To explore tide pools, Treasure Island is the place to be. And finally, surfer paddle out at Rockpile.
