Dana Wharf Sportfishing invites children 5-12 years of age to join us dockside for an educational fishing clinic. Kids will learn hands-on-fishing techniques from our expert- anglers. After each Sunday clinic concludes, Dana Wharf will be running a fishing trip from 12:45 – 5:15

Our trained instructors provide a fun, exciting and unique place for you to have your next party. We maintain a 5:1 ratio of climbers to belayers so everyone in your party receives individual attention. Each two hour session is filled with climbing and activities such as Capture the Flag*, Wall Tag and Wall Twister!

Camp James
Located in Newport Beach
Ages 4 - 13

For 30 years, Camp James has been Accredited by the ACA and has offered outstanding programs. Children ages 4-13 are able to experience outdoor activities including: canoes, archery, dance, STEM, go karts, climbing wall, kayaks, crafts, mini golf, martial arts, swimming, music, drama, laser tag, zip line and water park activities(note some age restrictions apply). Families can choose 5, 4, 3, or 2 days per week to attend camp. Camp hours (9 a.m.- 4 p.m.), extended camp hours available, lunch option. All activities take place on our camp grounds so we are not spending time on buses. Groups are co-ed and according to age.

Heritage Museum of Orange County
Located in Santa Ana

The 1898 Kellogg House is the focal point of the Heritage Museum. Inside you will find unique architectural features, antique furnishings, historic photos and maps, and hands-on activities for children. The tour is primarily self-guided, but a docent is always available during public hours to answer questions and provide additional insights into the house, the Kellogg family, and life in historic Orange County. On the same grounds, visitors can find nature trails, a working blacksmith shop and the Maag House, ranch house of citrus and nut grower John Anton Maag and his family.

Pacific Marine Mammal Center
Located in Laguna Beach

A non-profit, volunteer organization and education center. They rescue, rehabilitate, and release sick and injured seals and sea lions. Programs include a guided tour of the animal care facility and exhibit room, a slide presentation and observation of the animals. The also offer a range of educational programs for groups of all ages.

Pretend City Children's Museum

This interconnected city allows children to "pretend" to be the adults. Children can experience a variety of features every city has to offer.
